Looking right, that's the entrance to our complex and the motorcycle parking for the office  building in front of our complex.  Just past the trees is the main street we're off of.   In the front of the building on the left there is a grocery store (we go almost daily) and a restaurant (Blue Fox,).

Dining Room and TV Area - all other rooms are off this. Balcony if out the far doors. Far right is kitchen, then T's room, master bedroom door is to the right (not shown) and door on left is K's room.

 There's a third bathroom in K's room. And lots of storage (built in's in K's room) that I didn't take pictures of.   But this gives you a feel for our home for the next two months.

Coffee Solution # 2 - found coffee grounds at store ( all mixed with chicory), using paper towel and tea strainer as drip coffee maker. Not perfect, but much better than instant!

Mental note double check prices of the convenience items you want to buy. Fresh produce is not expensive, three medium green peppers cost me 30¢, but this parmesan cost us $12!  We will savour each bite!

Ice cream

So for a treat L decided to get ice cream.  This is not your average everyday open and enjoy kind.  No this is your plan ahead. Cook on the stove and wait 5 hours.  Pretty cool.  It has been cooked and is cooling to room temp. and will be ready for dinner time.  

Coffee

So just came home with two large cappuccinos from a coffee shop in the building next door to our complex.  Normally that would be nothing to write home about, literally i am writing home about it.  It is very exciting!  The reason being is i have been drinking instant coffee since we landed and
B has switched to tea. The cup of nector in front if me is heavenly. ♥♥♥ Appreciate the easy access we have. 

Laundry

So we used the washing machine last night, yes its in the kitchen and is tiny.  We had to look up the owners manual online last, thank goodness for the internet.  Then the debate was whether or not to run a clothes line outside at 10 pm on the balcony or hang them inside.  Seeing as most of the clothes were the kids, I was worried they'd blow off the 5th story balcony.  So this was our solution and we turned on the ceiling fan.
